Student Testimonials
To date, the program has been intense and demanding, yet rewarding. Even though the program is challenging it is also flexible; the modular structure enables me to apply what I learnt immediately. The professors I met in the EMBA program so far were exceptional, able to push me and my classmates beyond the boundaries of our traditional thought process and guide us through a wide variety of challenging and exciting business topics, appropriate to be applied in my career. The members of my class come from a wide range of countries and backgrounds; this makes for interesting discussions and lively debates and teaches you that there is always more than one side to an issue. Without a doubt, the EMBA program at IHU is a top quality experience in every aspect. Diana Popescu Executive MBA, Bucharest, Romania

![]() I am absolutely convinced that doing my master degree abroad, particularly here in Thessaloniki, was one of the best decisions of my life as I have met amazing people and as I enjoy every single day of living in Greece, a country with impressive landscape, culture, atmosphere and people! Sophie Stoppacher (MSc in Management), Austria
First of all, studying at the International Hellenic University has given me opportunities to work alone and as a part of a team, realizing the importance of each case. Moreover, I learned to regard time management as a key to success, since it helped me very much to get high degrees and gain valuable experience from writing papers on time.
Apart from the academic gain from attending this university, I also had the chance to live in a diversified student community and come in contact with people from all around the world. I consider this among the most valuable experiences a person can obtain, since one gets the chance to widen one’s scope, become independent and fully develop one's talents and abilities.
All in all, to my mind, getting a postgraduate degree in Banking and Finance will provide me with all the necessary tools for either claiming a workplace or going forward to the research field.
Nikos Tsileponis (MSc in Banking & Finance), Greece

Additionally, it's a pleasure to live in a city like Thessaloniki.

![]() Learning to study at the International Hellenic University at the age of 22 was a bit of a challenge at first as I had to deal with both a new subject that I had not studied before and the difficulty of the foreign language. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful, willing to inform me about the courses and how I could use important resources such as the library and the computer systems.
The reason that attracted me most to the IHU was not only the facilities that provide plenty of space for studying and spending our time pleasantly, but the opportunity to get in touch and cooperate with people from different countries and origins and all these in my country!
There is no doubt that I have become more confident and more successful in my efforts related to business science. It is a motivation for me to start my career as a professional individual ready to deal with any challenges I may face in the future. Sofia Zempiliadou (MSc in Management), Greece

The University provides us with well-equipped study facilities, all professors are highly qualified and experienced, we were usually involved in airing our views at the meetings with the recognized speakers. Moreover, studying in an international environment gives plenty of advantages, such as cultural and knowledge exchange. Apart from these advantages, Greece is the perfect country to study and live in, with its great weather, beautiful landscape and friendly people. All these factors led me to choose the International Hellenic University and I think it was the right choice. Lyazzat Sharipova (MSc in Management), Kazakhstan
Every course is a unique experience and the environment is such that you are feeling a student only when you have to take an exam or complete an assignment. I am one of those who investigated much prior to applying to IHU and what I can sincerely say after having completed almost one fourth of the courses is that the choice was wise: "International Hellenic University - a missing piece in the educational puzzle of Southeastern Europe" Sotiris Giakoumis, Executive MBA, Sofia, Bulgaria
Apart from studying and networking with the other students, I was also able to enjoy the atmosphere of an ancient city with plenty of landmarks, museums and architectural sites. I would hearty recommend taking a walk on the seafront with the White Tower, for instance. In my opinion, it is worth taking a breath of the Thessaloniki air as well as studying the EMBA at IHU. Aleksandar Todorov, Executive MBA, Bulgaria
The executive MBA is a really demanding program that requires a lot of devoted time from the student's side, though not only for theoretical knowledge but mostly for practical exercises. This makes it even more challenging and it pays you quickly off, as you can shortly catch yourself in your work practicing what you have learned. The whole student experience in IHU becomes even more pleasant due to the sense of community that is being built among co-students and the University's personnel as well. My co-students are all young people with high educational and professional backgrounds and I enjoy hanging out with them. The University's personnel are also very kind and professional and are really dedicated in making our busy student life as easier as possible. Tziriti Ioanna, Executive MBA, Greece
Much more than acquiring impressive amounts of knowledge and developing from the human point of view - it was an important piece of our memory that will add up to our evolving maturity and cultural heritage following us in everything that we want to do in the future. Victoria Kulikovski (MSc in Management), Moldova
The qualities of the professors that I interact with are beyond compare and have been challenging me to think critically. Being lectured by a highly committed faculty, who shared their professional experiences, was a great added value to the course and I particularly appreciate that the bulk of the program was taught by senior faculty who flew in for the duration of each lesson. The courses are very current and reflect the modern trends in the Industry. Another distinguishing feature of the program is the students attending, many of them coming from different industry, country and discipline. Evangelos Kazakis (MSc in Banking & Finance), Greece |
