The Course

 

The IHU MSc in Strategic Product Design focuses on understanding the theory and practice in the areas of product design. The programme provides graduates with a key set of skills, the real-world knowledge and the necessary theoretical and practical background to understanding the design development process and how this initial phase affects products' life cycle. It is designed to facilitate learning through a variety of teaching methods, including the participation in applied projects, and is also devoted to improvements of products' sustainability and innovation.

The main objective of the programme is to provide students with innovative knowledge in issues related to design, development, production and marketing of products that are operational, cost efficient, environmental friendly with high aesthetics value. Moreover, the programme also focuses on meeting industrial demand for professionals in new product development. In the same time it will strengthen students' skills in quantitative and research methods, analytical competences, improve communication skills and fluency in English.

The Strategic Product Design programme is a one-year master especially designed for young professionals or university graduates who are committed to developing their professional career in the area of product design.
