The IHU Emba Field Trip project

During the second year of their studies Executive-MBA students at International Hellenic University are required to complete the Field Trip Project. This provides students with the opportunity to explore at first hand the management practices in different South East European (SEE) countries.

This year the Field Trip Project focuses exclusively in not-for-profit organisations in SEE. It offers EMBA students the opportunity to explore and understand at first-hand the practices and needs of not-for-profit organisations and apply the knowledge of their EMBA course on such organisations.

It also makes a direct and tangible contribution to the society.
Each group of five to six students visits a not-for-profit organisation in Greece and/or another country in the SEE region and is required to shape and manage a consultancy project. The targets and objectives of these projects aim to respond to each organisation's special needs on different management development issues, such as marketing strategies, business plans, financial, accounting and general operational and managerial functions of the organisation.
