On completing the course the participants will be able:

  • To approach sustainability issues by means of how policy measures influence management decisions of business operators in the short as well as in the long term
  • To understand the level and the form of the intervention of public authorities, and the regional, national and international regulation bodies in the case of biotechnology and bioeconomy
  • To explain and analyze these interventions in different case studies

To understand the importance of environmental issues in the legitimization of public intervention in the bioeconomy sector.
